Working with Permaculture principles to create an urban self reliant life in Essex, UK We are a family of three and a dog living by the sea in the east of England, trying to be as self sufficient as possible without being fanatical about it. We try to structure our garden on organic, Permaculture principles, recycling our rainwater and grey water through a reed bed. Our home uses solar energy and wood for cooking, space and water heating and we generate solar electricity.
