Food Forests for Pine Ridge Reservation

On an 8000 acre ranch on the Pine Ridge Lakota reservation, this is a comprehensive permacuture design that includes all elements of the permaculture flower but is focused on food forest installation currently. The purpose is to create a demonstration site of resilient, regenerative living at the rez. A student from the first course, Shannon Freed, has gone on to organize building three natural buildings, is planting a food forest and putting a permaculture demonstration site on the rez.
