The initial goal is to establish systems that provide a large percentage of the owner's family's food. 2.5 acres homestead in north Birmingham. Was once a very manicured gardening property that fell into neglect by its previous owner's with failing health. The desire of the new owner is to transform the property and restore it through the application and use of permaculture design and for the property to become an example for the rejuvenation power of permaculture. The owner also seeks to establish greater permaculture community in the city of Birmingham and the property will be available as a homebase for meetings and permaculture gatherings in the Magic City.
