/// OPERATIVE NOTES ///
A 16 acre native woodland in Central Scotland The wood is primarily birch with a variety of other trees including oak, beech, sycamore, and to a lesser extent rowan, hazel, ash and elder. Other than a 1/2 acre clearing on the south eastern edge the wood is all wood with bracken as the main under storey. The permaculture plan in a nutshell is to form several 1/2 acre or so "keyhole" forest gardens along the southern edge where the wood borders a field.
