/// OPERATIVE NOTES ///
We have just secured a site in central Portugal near Arganil to start our Permaculture small-holding and education center. The arts focus is on textiles techniques and natural dyeing, for which we are planning an organic dyers garden and workshops/studios for processing and experimenting with these techniques. Strictly speaking: "we're available, but just not quite ready unless you're really prepared to rough it ... and it's a bit cold and wet at the moment!"When the accommodation is ready it will be in our converted Iveco - 2 proper beds, wood-burner, cook/wash facilities, compost crapper, water piped up from the river, solar electric and a private, quiet, independent camp site. (I'll post some pictures when I'm a bit more ready) So …. at Texatelier; Nikola’s courses in Textiles Arts specialisms will continue to be offered as well as some new ‘Permaculture’ and organic farming courses. (Sean, and other practitioners, will also be offering: homesteading skills, natural building techniques, experimental architecture, Kiln and Oven design and building) This now defines what theoriginalTexatelier ( www.texatelier.com ) has become and is still becoming. (We are 100% off-grid and strive towards greater self-sufficiency) Quinta Da Ravina - Portugal.
