VerdEnergia Pacifica

VerdEnergia Pacifica is a cooperatively-owned permaculture community and reforestation project in the mountains of Lanas de Pursical, Costa Rica. We are regenerating 64 acres of destroyed cattle and tobacco land into a food and energy forest, while working with other farms and reforestation projects in our area to create a wildlife corridor between national parks La Cangreja and La Carara. Our area is not your typical tourist area; although VerdEnergia is a cultural hub drawing together people from all over the world, our local community is largely untouched by tourism and exemplifies a refreshingly authentic Pura Vida lifestyle.
