Wa Samaki Ecosystems

Wa Samaki Ecosystems, in Trinidad, created in 1997, offers a working example of a Permaculture operation producing cut flowers for the local market, organic food for our household consumption, aquaculture, wildlife conservation, watershed rehabilitation, Permaculture Design Courses, workshops and volunteer and internship opportunities. Wa Samaki Ecosystems is located on a 33 acre estate in Trinidad and Tobago. We have successfully installed a large mixed forest buffer zone around the largest natural gas facility in Trinidad using permaculture principles We offer PDC courses once a year as well as opportunities to volunteer or intern and be part of the regeneration process at Wa Samaki Ecosystems
